There are two ways to use this mirror as one can buy / make one's own frame to place this in or one can use this as intended and mount it flat against a surface such as the back of a door, on a bathroom wall, in a dark hallway to improve the light etc. etc.. Regardless of what one does with this mirror it will look good. The mirror itself is not too heavy however one does need to take care when handling it as the edges are sharp. When mounting this it is advisable to wear some gloves so one doesn't cut one's hands on the sharp edges. To install this mirror as is one simply measures where the screws will go into the supporting surface, drills the holes, puts in rawl plugs and the screws then simply hangs the mirror onto the screws. The mirror does not go completely flat against a surface as obviously there has to be room for the brackets but it does hang very close to a surface, with only a small gap of around 1cm. As for the quality, I have found no production flaws whatsoever and both the quality of the glass and the reflection given are excellent. I am recommending this product as it really is a good quality product that will deliver good value over time. It is well produced and actually came well polished with no smears, dirty fingerprints etc. that some mirrors tend to be delivered with.

The mirror comes well packages. The mirror is inside a bubble wrap sleeve, then encased in a cardboard box that is wrapped in two layers of bubble wrap (before Amzon also pack it in a box). It has4 black coner protectors on it which is a nice touch as the edges of the mirror are sharp as there is no wooden or metal frame around it. The mirror also comes with a pack of rawl plugs and screws and a basic instruction leaflet about hanging it. On the reverse of the mirror there are sturdy metal cross shaped brackets for hanging it. You can choose whether to hang it portrait style or landscape. It is thin and light but very clear and shiny and has a discreet stylish bevelled edge. It would look great in a bathroom, hallway or anywhere you want a nice large mirror that doesn't weigh a ton.
